For 8-yr old Bobby and his little sister Jenna, their parents’ constant arguing is enough to make anyone’s stomach turn into a great big knot of worries. Unsure of what may happen when they see suitcases at the front door one morning, these two kids devise a plan they hope will keep their parents together.
This story helps kids in Christian families deal with big topics like separation, divorce and forgiveness, and reminds the adults that kids go through just as much pain as they do, but Jesus is there for them all, no matter the outcome.

Ellyne Barnette
Ellyne Barnette is the pen name for the author of the new Christian Children’s book No More Knots. A Sunday School/Children’s Church teacher and leader for over 30 years, the real “Ellyne” has a passion for teaching children about the Bible and the principles of the Christian faith. She especially desires to help parents teach their children how to apply those principles to their daily lives as they navigate through an increasingly complex world.
Ellyne is a wife of 40+ years to an awesome and supportive husband, mother of two grown children, and a grandmother of six. By day, Ellyne is an Information Technology professional still enjoying her job, but able to retire at any time. In the meantime, she is pursuing her God-given vision of being an author; and when she does retire, she looks forward to more time to travel with her husband, dote on her grandkids, and write more books.
